Privacy

Last updated October 6, 2026

Yocato (yocato.com) is a cat-name website. You don't need an account, and there are no forms to fill in. This page explains the small amount of information involved when you visit.

Your shortlist stays on your device

Names you save to your shortlist are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to us, and we can't see them. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them.

Hearing names out loud

The “Say it” buttons use your browser's built-in speech feature. Some browsers use online voices supplied by the browser maker (such as Google, Apple or Microsoft), in which case the name being spoken is handled under that company's privacy policy.

Fonts

The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and basic browser details. See Google's privacy policy.

Hosting and visit statistics

Yocato is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and only gives us totals, such as how many people viewed a page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies, ads and selling data

Yocato doesn't set cookies, doesn't show ads and doesn't sell or share personal information. If we ever add advertising or affiliate links, we'll update this page first.
