Mythology cat names

Cats have their own gods. Bastet was the Egyptian goddess of cats and the home, and the Norse goddess Freya rode a chariot pulled by two cats. Most mythological names, though, borrow from gods with nothing feline about them, and that's half the fun.

These names are grouped by tradition so you can stay in one world, which matters if you're naming more than one cat.
